But reinstalling all my addons that I had seems to not have caused any recurrence of the error.MacOS: Go to Chrome Preferences in the menu bar, or using the Command + , shortcut. So the conclusion to this wacky error is I had to “Reset Firefox” to cure it. RESULTS of readding RG addons: FanDuel still works. I’m going to test now to see if when I readd them, if the error reoccurs.
I have not reinstalled the RG addons but it seems that even though before I Reset Firefox, that the Addons were disabled both manually and in Safe Mode, that the error was likely caused by them all along. The reason I think that? Because I have since reinstalled each of the above addons 1 by 1, and tested Fanduel to load with each one. Wrote down what all my Addons are, which I’ll list here, and then clicked the button to reset it, booted back into Normal Windows, and tried Fanduel without any addons – SUCCESS. I read up on this, it basically purges your addons/extensions/plugins but generally leaves everything else intact. So then I put Firefox into Safe Mode and before I opened it, I saw the “Reset Firefox” option. I rebooted my PC into Safe Mode, tried there.
Since my last post I decided I had enough of this weird error only impacting myself.
